Alecia Reid, President

 

Alecia Reid is the co-founder and President of the ESTEEM Foundation. Following a volunteer mission in East Africa, she strengthened her commitment to empowering the next generation. Her passion for advocacy, sustainability, and education led to the creation of ‘Empowering Students Through Enrichment and Environmental Merit’.

 

Alecia is a Lehman College alumna. She holds two Masters degrees; a Master of Science in International Relations from Northeastern University, and Master of Liberal Arts in Global Development Practice from Harvard Extension School. She also holds certifications in Social Justice and Environmental Policy from HES.

 

Alecia is an Emmy award-winning correspondent and a proud member of the National Association of Black Journalists. When she’s not covering the news, you can find her embedded in the community, embracing new adventures, and helping wherever she can. Alecia is also a host and Keynote Speaker.
